Allmennmedisin & Helsekontroll
General Medicine & Health Screenings
Our general medicine team provides thorough assessment, ongoing care and preventive health screening for adults, delivered with the time and continuity a proper consultation requires.
Clinical scope
The General Medicine department is the starting point for most patients at NordicCare Helsehus. Our physicians assess new symptoms, manage chronic conditions and coordinate onward referral to specialist departments when a more focused evaluation is needed. Consultations are unhurried, giving your physician time to take a full history and explain findings clearly.
Health screening programmes are built around your age, risk factors and personal health goals, rather than a single fixed package. Your physician will recommend the specific tests and examinations that are clinically relevant to you, and explain why each one is included.

What to expect
At your first visit, your physician will review your medical history, current medication and reason for consultation before carrying out a physical examination. Where laboratory tests are needed, samples can usually be taken on the same day, with results discussed at a follow-up consultation or by secure message.
