Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to appointments, consultations and treatment at NordicCare Helsehus.
Appointments and consultations
Appointments at NordicCare Helsehus are booked by phone, email or through the consultation request form on our website, and are confirmed by our patient coordination team. Please arrive in good time for your scheduled appointment to allow for registration at reception.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask that you notify reception as early as possible if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, details of which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Fees and payment
Consultation and treatment fees depend on the department, procedure and, where relevant, your insurance or corporate health scheme arrangement. Private patients are asked to settle fees at the time of their appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance. Patients referred through an insurer or corporate scheme should confirm coverage and any pre-authorisation requirements with their provider before their appointment.
Patient responsibilities
Please provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current medication and symptoms, and inform your specialist of any change in your condition. Following pre- and post-treatment instructions, including preparation for diagnostic imaging or day surgery, is important for your safety and the accuracy of your care.
Clinical decision-making
All clinical assessments, diagnoses and treatment recommendations are made by qualified specialists based on your individual presentation. Treatment plans may be adjusted as new clinical information becomes available.
Confidentiality
Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, GDPR and the Norwegian Normen standard for information security in the health and care sector.
Limitation of liability
NordicCare Helsehus provides clinical care in accordance with recognised medical standards. As with any healthcare provider, outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and treatment recommendations are based on the clinical information available at the time of your consultation.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising in connection with services provided by NordicCare Helsehus will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
